A research scholar from Department of Physics, Eternal University, Baru Sahib, Ms. Jasneet Kaur bagged the first prize in a poster presentation at a UGC sponsored national symposium on “Chemistry Innovations for Human Well Being”. She presented a poster entitled “Co2+ and Fe3+ ions substituted SnO2 nanoparticles: Ferromagnetism, Raman spectra and Photoluminescence.”This symposium was organized by the Department of Chemistry, Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla on the celebration of International Year of Chemistry – 2011 on October 21-22, 2011.
