The Eternal University Follows UGC guide lines for admission to and award of Ph.D. degree. These are as given below:

1.  An advertisement regarding Ph.D. entrance test for admission to Ph.D. in different subjects is given in the news papers. The date and time of Entrance test is also given in the advertisement.
2. This information is also put on the university web site.
3. Ph.D. entrance test is conducted as per UGC guide lines.
4. After the entrance test the candidates are interviewed by a committee and the possible research projects are discussed with the candidate and a supervisor is allotted to him taking in to consideration the guidelines of UGC that is a professor cannot have more than 8 Ph.D. students at any given point of time.
5. The selected students are required to undergo course work as prescribed by UGC guide lines.
6. There may be an external guide in addition to internal guide.

The coursework and the thesis will be evaluated as per UGC guide lines.
